33 Weeks

We have made it to 33 weeks!! Althought I have had problems with low fluid levels, everything looked much better this week. Baby Ethan weighed in at 4.5lbs. My doctor is very optimistic that we will make it t0 37 weeks. That is just 4 weeks to go!

I am VERY excited about the baby shower next weekend. It is so nice to be able to celebrate with family and friends. See you all there!

28 weeks

Here we are at week 28! The good news is that our doctor appointment today went well. Ethan was monitored today for fetal heart rate and movement. He seems to be doing well. We did spend Monday at the hospital after a few minor issues, but we were sent home with a clean bill of health. This was our first follow up since then. Our doctor is going to send me back to a specialist for another in depth ultrasound just in case. Please keep us in your prayers!!

More good news........after the scare earlier this week Jason decided to come home early. He is here now and that is a big help! He is going to start looking for a job here right away.

Thanks to generous friends and family members.....the nursery is coming together. Ethan's bedding is soooo cute!!! I can't wait to get his room completed and to bring him home. 12 weeks to go!!!

25 Weeks

I am 25 weeks now and finally feeling the baby move. Yeah!! Jason and I have firmly decided on the name Ethan Jae Miller. Lots of Jason's friends call him J, so that is where we came up with the middle name. Jae means respect in Korean - - which I thought was nice. Ethan means strong and optimistic.

Now.....I just need to get the nursery started.......and get my husband to Texas!

22 weeks!!

I am past the half way point at 22 weeks. I saw a specialist who performed an ultrasound this morning. She looked at the baby's heart...kidneys...bones....and all kinds of very cool things. Baby Miller has a clean bill of health.

I found the cutest baby book. It is a book that captures a child's first 18 years (not just the first year). I know that I am going to be a picture fanatic. I think the "story of me" part is so cool. What do you think? Keeping memories is going to be a big deal for me. Is 18 years too much to cram into one book? Should I try to split it up?

It's a Boy

Baby Miller is a boy. Jason and I are down to Ethan and Collin for baby names. What do you think?

This is our latest ultrasound. Baby at 20 weeks.

Baby Names

Jason and I should find out if we are having a boy or a girl on June 3rd. That will be our first appointment with our new doctor in Houston. I hope Baby Miller cooperates with the ultrasound. We have been talking about names and this is what we have so far:

Girl Name: Riley
Boy Name: Collin
Gender Neutral: Keegan

Let me know what you guys think and we are open to suggestions.

Week 13

Today is the first day of week 13 - - this will officially mark the end of the first trimester. Yeah! Baby Miller is about 3 inches long and is already forming fingerprints (this is assuming Baby Miller is average - -- we know he/she will be amazing).

I want to say thanks to Chelsea and Jenn for helping me start registering for Baby stuff - - it was so much fun and I learned a lot from you guys!!! It is so weird to look at bottles and pacifiers and think that soon that will be all over the house. We can't wait.

Second Ultrasound

This is the latest ultrasound from Monday. My doctor had this very cool ultrasound that let me see the baby in detail. You can clearly see arms and feet. I even saw the feet move!!! It was incredible. This is officially week 10!

Oops..

So yeah, Kristy.

Your box totally moves by itself. I think I may have accidently sent you my rat. I mean dog. Please have Jason open it.

Sorry.

Calm Down!! And On the Way. Almost.

Look!! It's your book!! And its in a box!! And I'm sure you can't tell, but it has your address on it and everything, it's even sealed!!* Aren't you proud of me??

But I did take a quick peak for you and to not quote but come as close as I can without reopening the box (and that would be a big mistake) - it says "you may have any or all of these symptoms at one time or another." Which implies that they're supposed to come and go. No worries. You're totally normally, it's those consistently sick people who are the freaks.

*BTW - your box just moved by itself.. I'm actually kindof freaked out. And may go lock myself in my room.

Just Beginning

We are just starting our journey. Today I am 7 weeks and 1 day along in my pregnancy. I posted my first ultrasound from the fertility doctor earlier this week. All is going well and I don't have another appointment until March 22nd.

I am so excited about our first child. As you know, this has been a very long journey. Thank God we are finally pregnant!!
